CLUB PRESIDENT MERCHANT RE-ELECTED FOR 2010-11

Vali Merchant has been elected for a second term as President
of the City of Industry Lions Club.

Volunteer petal pushers prepare the Lions Clubs International float entry for the 121st annual Tournament
of Roses Parade in Pasadena. A breakfast hosted by the Pasadena Host Lions Club was held Dec. 31, 2009, which included tours
of the Lion Float and others at the Phoenix Decorating Co. float barn on South Raymond Avenue. A select group of Lions and
their families were chosen to accompany International President Eberhard J. Wirfs on the Jan. 1, 2010 ride down Colorado Boulevard.

ASSEMBLYMAN PAYS CLUB VISIT

the 60th District in the California State Assembly, was the guest speaker at the Aug. 13 meeting of the City of Industry Lions

FLOATING ON LAND

Volunteer "petal pushers" apply the finishing touches on the Lions Clubs International float entry
in the Jan. 1, 2009 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. A handful of Industry Lions Club members attended the annual
New Year's Eve Breakfast, hosted by the Pasadena Host Lions Club, and got a sneak peek of the float 24 hours before it rolled
down the 5.5-mile route along Colorado Boulevard. International President Al Brandel attended the breakfast and later rode
on the float in view of 1.4 million on-site spectators and nearly a billion television viewers.
ROAST OF THE TOWN

ADVANCES TO DISTRICT STUDENT SPEAKERS CONTEST

Nogales High School senior Carmina Del Mundo (center) won the Central Region Student
Speakers Contest held April 5th, to advance to the District contest, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday April
26, at Goddard Middle School, 859 E. Sierra Madre Ave., Glendora. Also pictured at the March 5th Club contest are,
